News - Community Garden Autumn 2024
Winter Closure
The Community Garden has paused regular opening until Saturday 1st February 2025.
The Community Garden will then be open every Saturday from 10:00 am to 12.00 noon. All are welcome.
We are open through out spring, summer and autumn. New volunteers will be given a warm welcome. Please contact hello@cobhamcommunitygarden.org.uk.
We seek to encourage the community to live a greener lifestyle through pesticide-free produce and consumption, as well as through recycling, composting, reducing water use and waste.
We are a self-funded entity, a not-for-profit horticultural initiative. This means that we manage our gardens through community involvement, share our produce with our volunteers and sell our surplus at Cobham Farmers Market. It is fun and sociable as well as providing exercise in the fresh air. Unlike your own garden, there is no regular commitment needed.
Our produce is as natural and local as we can make it, so you really are getting healthy fruit and vegetables from us.
We encourage people of all ages and backgrounds to come and join us in the garden, or to help out with other duties managing the garden: recruitment, research, supporting our events, selling and buying our produce.
