Handyperson

This role ensures that the Garden is safe and everything is in working order to enable a positive experience for all those that use it.

The role holder is responsible for the maintenance and enhancement of the Garden infrastructure.  This includes the sheds, greenhouses, water systems, tools etc. 

The role holder will work closely with the Head Gardener to ensure that the necessary infrastructure for Garden projects is in place and to effect repairs as needed.  Typical damage includes wear and tear, occasional vandalism/theft and storm damage.

Ideal skills / qualifications:

General handyman/DIY experience to enable delivery of the role as described above.

No formal qualifications necessary, but it would be useful to provide evidence of relevant experience.

The ability to create and deliver a maintenance plan for the Garden infrastructure in conjunction with the Head Gardener.
